Why is there no power gain at top rpm?
While it's possible to increase top-end power, doing so would significantly increase piston and bearing wear, resulting in a much higher risk of catastrophic engine failure. We prioritize reliability, so we've focused on improving mid-range torque without compromising engine longevity.
Can I use a de-cat muffler?
Yes, the COOBER LM ECU fully supports de-cat setups.
Can I use any type of air intake modification?
Yes, air intake modifications are supported. However, make sure you understand the modifications you're making—many air intake mods offer little to no benefit.
Does it support EUR5+ functions of the stock ECU?
Yes, the COOBER LM ECU retains full support for all controlling functions, including those of the stock ECU.
How difficult is the installation?
Installation is quick and easy—just plug it in between the oxygen sensors, and you're done. It takes about 2-3 minutes.
