The Standard Pro Ti pipe is way, WAY too loud for dual sport.
The Street Legal model exhaust is too corked up.
The Coober slip-on muffler and mid-pipe addresses both these issues.
For the Ti pipe- just slip the muffler on the Ti mid-pipe and go. Nice quiet exhaust note similar to an FMF Q with no appreciable power loss. .
For the Street version, use the Coober muffler and no-cat mid-pipe in the kit.
The hardware is top notch, the construction is gorgeous- super pretty welds.
The muffler has a sparky baffle in it- this adds some needed back pressure to the Pro Ti exhaust and clears up almost all the "fuel-cut light-switch" low RPM throttle issues and tames the monster engine braking with the Factory 230.1 tune. And, no more popping. If you dont have the 230.1 tune, get the Coober ECU as well- that will smooth things out even more.
This is a wonderful bit of kit that transforms a full-on, WAY too loud race bike into a scary fast, much quieter dual-sport, and wakes up a sleepy Street Legal version, and makes both models run smoother.
5 Stars for Coober!
Included: shot of my set up on the Standard Pro model, note order of assembly: long bolt and recessed cone spacer from kit, strap clamp from kit, large spacer from kit, washer from kit, factory hanger/bush/roll pin, washer from kit, nut from kit. This keeps it spaced properly and it does not "droop" but still has some give. Loosen entire exhaust first, hang the muff, slowly snug stuff up a bit at a time in the order it's most "happy", ride it like ya stole it!
