Solid Mod - Terrible Instructions

The instructions are terrible. A little more step by step, and better explanation of where to secure the ECU would benefit the experience a lot. I had to make up my own mounting solution.

Awesome Upgrade!

This has to be one of the best motorcycle upgrades that I have ever made. Installation was fairly simple. The only difficult plug to get to was the injector plug, which required a slight re-positioning of the airbox. However, it was well worth the effort, as my bike has been totally changed. It now pulls like a rocket down low and revs through the roof. I definitely recommend this product to all KTM 690 SMC-R owners!

Must have upgrade!

The Coober ECU has been the absolute best upgrade on my 690 SMC-R. No more jerky throttle, it’s now smooth as silk at all RPM ranges. The bike runs noticeably cooler, which was one of my main goals. The only other performance modification I have is a Wings Exhaust. This ECU has made my dream bike into so much more.
I’d also like to mention Aaron was awesome to deal with and extremely accommodating. Couldn’t be happier I went with Coober!

21 690 enduro review

Great performance and rock solid setup.
Excellent heat shielding on the wires for a bike that leaves you no room to hide anything, coober makes it a snap with perfect wire lengths, and truly plug n play.
Make sure to look for updated installation instructions as I've come up with a new mounting solution that is rock solid and they are putting it in the manual.

You need this if you have a 690 Enduro R

Just installed the Coober ECU on my KTM 690, along with a Remus silencer and I am astounded by the difference these mods made.
No more lurching and flame outs….just tons of power all across the board.
Changed my bike from good to great!!! 👍🏻
